Where We Are

Jávea is located on the Spanish mainland’s easternmost point of the northern part of the Costa Blanca (”The White Coast”). Continuing east along the Mediterranean Sea would bring you to the islands of Ibiza, Formentera, and Mallorca. Valencia Airport and Alicante Airport are little more than an hour from Jávea, to the north and south respectively. Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2 and Monarch all have direct flights into Alicante.

La Finca lies on the outskirts of the coastal town of Jávea (with a population of 30,000, though those numbers are considerably smaller in the town’s centre). Jávea is a tourist town during the summer but has nonetheless preserved its most historical and truly Spanish areas. Thanks to a restrictive approach towards all major building developments and resort-style hotels, Jávea has maintained its authentic and welcoming atmosphere.

Behind La Finca towers Montgo National Park, which rises 753 metres above sea level and then winds its way down, like an elephant’s trunk, into the Mediterranean Sea. Right outside La Finca, you’ll find the main road, CV-734 into Jávea, which makes for easy access to the harbour (3 km), beaches (4 km), and highway (16 km). The old part of town is located a mere 20 minutes from La Finca by foot, but for shopping and day-to-day transport, we recommend that you rent a car. For morning walks or jogs, head 150 meters down the road towards Jávea and then follow Calle Elche to back roads and opulent paths.

The area surrounding La Finca is green and lush, with orange groves and old Spanish farm houses. Across the street lives the couple Señor and Señora Tacho, apart from which the neighbours are few and far between. By car, La Finca is only minutes from beaches, bays, stores, restaurants, golf courses, tennis clubs, national parks, hiking paths, villages, and tourist attractions. A little further away, in the town of Benidorm, you’ll even find some of Europe’s best amusement parks.
