Below you will find some of the group activities offered by our business partners in the area. We can help you decide which activity might best suit your needs, or help you find another activity not already on the list.
Can Sueño – experience true Spanish culture
We highly recommend the guest house Can Sueño as it is often one of the main highlights for our visiting guests. The drive up to Can Sueño and a truly Spanish experience takes little more than an hour and is breathtakingly beautiful. Along the mountain path, you will pass almond groves, olive gardens and fig trees. Once at the top, guests can wander in untouched nature and enjoy a delicious lunch (mesarural) prepared by the Dutch couple Rob & Hennie, who always look to nature for inspiration for their culinary dishes. The food is prepared with as many fresh and organically grown ingredients as possible – visit www.cansueno.com for further inspiration and booking information.
Fun&Quads offers fun and adventurous motor sports activities, available for individuals as well as groups. You can ride a buggy or quadbike through the Spanish countryside, rent water or land scooters, go kayaking or even snorkelling in caves. For more information and pricing, visit www.funquads.com.
If you enjoy activities on or in the water, Jávea and its surrounding areas have plenty of exciting possibilities to offer. Fun&Quads (www.funquads.com) arranges jet skiing, kayaking, and snorkelling outings in the neighbouring town of Denia. Add a picnic on the beach to complete the experience!
Mundomarino (www.mundomarino.es) organises sailing and motor boat expeditions and has a ferry which goes to and from Denia and Jávea on a daily basis for the entirety of the summer season.
Bicycle Rentals and Guided Tours
Los Caballos in Els Poblets rents out city bikes as well as mountain bikes of excellent quality. We recommend that you reserve your bicycle, which can be delivered to La Finca, well ahead of time. Las Caballos also offers guided tours of the area.
Contact Burkhard at Los Caballos by phone (+34 966 475 177) or by email ( firstname.lastname@example.org).
Paella and Barbecue Nights
Private chefs are available upon reservation. Experience a Spanish paella and watch your chef in action as he prepares your dinner on your own private patio. In true Spanish fiesta fashion, we urge you to partake in the decorations and wine selections for the evening. If you wish to be serenaded by your very own Spanish crooner, Juan’s phone number is provided below.
Juan Saez (Spanish guitar) email@example.com
Why not challenge your friends or family to a ping-pong tournament in La Finca’s very own ping-pong area? Ping pong balls, bats, and nets provided.
Hike – Montgo Challenge
The trek up to the top of Montgo National Park is one of the area’s most popular hikes. The hike requires some stamina as the trail can at times be steep and takes about 2½ hours (one way) to complete. Given clear conditions, you will be rewarded at the top with a view reaching all the way to the island of Ibiza. The starting point of the hike is 15 minutes away from La Finca by car. The hike can be done on your own or with a guide. See our hiking section for more areas and routes.
